At Lidgard Shades, we are supremely conscious that it is incumbent on all of us to conduct business in a way that appropriately serves you, our customers and our team, without creating a significant burden for future generations.
Sustainability targets invoke an awareness of our social, economic and ecological responsibilities for the greater good.
Wherever possible, we recycle all unused materials. We select fabrics for our various installations that have high recyclability quotients.
We limit waste wherever possible, finding alternate purposes for otherwise unusable offcuts.
Some fabrics and materials essentially used in our products have limited recyclability.
With these, we focus on upcycling. We have cultivated a close relationship with the team at Goat Loft who take much of our fabric offcuts for use in their upcycled creations.
